GOALS.

Ok. I haven’t even started writing and I’m already super excited about this. Woo!!

So lately I’ve been doing A LOT of thinking about A LOT of things but i’ve been mostly thinking about this summer and what I want to come out of it. So I decided to make a list of goals that I want to accomplish this season and honestly, it just made me so much more excited. Like the thought of summer literally just makes me want to jump around because I am just SO. FREAKING. EXCITED. So here it is. My list of goals to complete for the summer:

1. READ MORE BOOKS.

Okay. Yes. I know how dorky this sounds but I really, really want to start reading more because when you read more, you learn more. I think the more the read, the more interesting you become because each and every book you read teaches you at least,some type of lesson. Like literally every single book has something to offer and I think that’s so cool. And i’m highkey super proud because I bought a book for myself today and summer started yesterday so i’m already headed in the right direction. (BTW, the book I bought is called “Rooted” by Banning Liebscher and supposedly it’s really, really good so you should probably just go ahead and buy it too.)  But for real, catch me at your nearest bookstore this summer.

2. MEET NEW PEOPLE.

This one kind of speaks for itself. Kind of. But, not really. This summer I want to meet new people. Like, as in EVERYONE. I want to talk to every single person I pass on the street. I want to get coffee with the random stranger that I stood behind in line at the store. I want to be friends with everybody. No matter how different we may be. The one thing nobody can never have enough of is friends and I think that is so special. Friendships are so cool too, like every single friendship you have is so unique and different in its own way and there’s never going to be anything else like it. So this summer, I want to be friends with everybody I see. Like if you’re reading this right now, send me a message and let’s get to know each other. For real. Like I want to know your entire life story and all of the things you are most passionate about. It’s going to be great.

3. ADVENTURE CONSTANTLY.

If you know me, you know that I LOVE to explore. And this summer, I want to adventure more than I have in my life ever before. I want to find cool places and see new things. Even if it means just getting in the car and driving aimlessly until I reach a destination. I want to explore without limitations and get completely lost. Oh and if it involves climbing a roof or two, definetly count me in. (;

4. BE LESS PICKY.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am the pickiest eater you will EVER meet. And lately, I’ve realized that it is really tiring eating the same thing for the same meal ( i’m not even exaggerating) just because I don’t like what’s in it. So. I have decided that I’m going to my picky eating habits and start forcing myself to try new things and quit being so high maintenance when it comes to food.

5. GET INVOLVED.

Yes! This one has been laying in my heart for quite some time now. As my momma’s always said, I have a servant’s heart and I want to fulfill it. I want to get involved, not only in my church, but all over the community. Volunteering has always been one of my favorite things. Every time I do community service, I feel SO good afterwards and I want that feeling to become a regular one.

6. GET INSPIRED.

If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE pictures. Taking them. Being in them. Everything about them. Something I really want to start focusing on and improve on is my photography. Photography is one of my biggest passions and is something i’m able to express myself by doing. It’s something I absolutely love. And this summer, I want to focus more on finding new inspiration and my own style behind the lens. It’s going to take a lot of experimenting and work, but I am so ready.

& the rest is yet to come. But right now, I am so pumped about everything that’s on my list and I can’t wait to see it grow. I can’t wait to look back on this all and see what I accomplished by the end of the summer. Gosh, I’m so excited. I have a feeling this is going to be the best summer ever.
